I don’t laminate! There….I said it…the monkey is off my back now! LOL! Well, I should say, I don’t laminate my dividers and I’ll tell you why, because they are flat and don’t take layers well. Now this is a personal preference of course, but if you’ve followed me long enough you know that layers is totally my mojo.
I’ve decided to spruce up the A5, my financial planner, with all those delicious fall goodies in the October Kit and every single divider I did make has layers and texture to it.
This first divider I made this ‘thankful’ raised with a foam sticky square with the foiled flowers from the ephemera pack as a backdrop.
On the opposite divider, I accented with the rubber shapes and the fox but also wanted something to house my Thankful 30 list.
The list is made from the back of the alpha packaging which I just cut in half and personalized it with more ephemera.
The next divider is made from wood veneer paper which is no thicker than cardstock. The sticky notes are adhered only a little bit so it makes them literally pop off the page.
The last divider I made is the bag that houses our kit.
I just resewed the bottom to be a little shorter and chopped off the extra. Punching holes was way easier than I thought. I just used a regular ¼ inch paper punch to start the hole and finished it off with a pair of trimming scissors.
It now holds what is left of my kit in my binder so I have it all together.
I could have used the draw string but thought it would look cute to use some clips and more ephemera to decorate!
Thanks for stopping by! I have really enjoyed using this festive kit in all my planners!
