Today, you'll learn all about Lem! She'll be showcasing this month's kit and how you can decorate your ring bound planners. First, get to know Lem's planning style.
Brief background of who you are, what you do, etc. Basically a 411 of YOU!
First and foremost, God first. Through him everything is possible. I am a wifey and a mommy of two adorable munchkins. I received my degree in teaching but my true calling has been to be a mommy. I currently stay home with my babies. I have a pre-schooler who I am currently home schooling, but he will be going to school next year. I have a 9 month old baby girl who loves to be attached to my hip :)). I consider myself a friendly introvert. I love to stay as organized as I possibly can: In my house everything has a home. Although when you have kids, that is not easy to keep up with but I do my best. Oh and I love coffee.
Who or What inspire you the most?
I find inspiration everywhere but my children are the ones who inspire me the most. They keep me young, fresh and on my toes. I also love to find inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest.
Describe your style of planning and what planner(s) are you using at the moment?
My style of planning is definitely girly, colorful and functional. I am drawn to pastels the majority of the time. I love shabby chic inspired, as well as anything fashionable. I have also recently found myself loving kawaii. I guess you can say I love everything. When I decorate my planners I don't like to feel over whelmed so I like to keep it well balanced between the stickers and my plan of action. I am currently using a personal size ring planner. I have collected a few over the years. I like to switch them out depending on my mood or the season.
What is your must-have planner supplies or planner accessories?
Currently I MUST have my planner stickers, washi tape, cute paper clips and a good pen. It is hard to plan without any of these items.
If you could design your own stickers set, what would it be?
Personal size Decorative, functional and motivational words/quotes. I love adding decorative stickers to add character to my layouts. I would chose a few themed decorative pieces for example; if i chose “shabby chic” as my theme. I would look for floral print mason jars or vintage typewriter clipart, anything that reminds me of shabby chic. Then i would select a few functional pieces to make sure I get done what I need to get done such as to do's, important, reminders, appointments etc. I also love to include mini motivational words or quotes on my layouts to keep me going. Positive vibes only.
Now that you know a little bit about Lem lets take a look inside the September "Hey Girl Hey" Kit.
Hello VB addicts. It is Lem here! Super duper excited to be posting my very first VillaBeautiful blog. I will be featuring Septembers VB kit “Hey girl Hey”. This kit is the complete package. It is filled with the perfect VB planner stickers, die-cuts, planner accessories and more! Not to mention the yummy little treat to munch on while getting our “create on”. Tiffany sure does know how to spoil us.
The possibilities of decorating and creating things with this fun and gorgeous kit are endless. Today I will be show casing a cute dash board using the die-cuts from the kit and also a planner pocket full of love because let’s face it, we VB planner addicts love to stare at our planner pockets for hours.
I used an old paper planner cover to use as the dash board. I added the inspirational journal card that came with the VB stickers and spiffied it up with the gorgeous die-cuts. I also made a cute clip out of the telephone die-cut. I used a few of the other die-cuts added them into my planner pocket along with the gorgeous VB lipstick paper clip.
Quick, easy and cute. The love for creating continues but for now I hope I have inspired you to create your very own VB “hey girl hey” dash board and add some love to your planner pockets!
Till next time my lovely VB addicts.
