Hi VB friends! 

It’s Maria here, and I’m so excited to show you my project using the “Once Upon a Time” December VB Kit. This kit is all about magic, dreams, miracles, and happily-ever-afters! It’s the perfect way to start the new year. One of my favorite pieces in the kit is this adorable and very functional album. You can use it to store sticker sheets inside, but I wanted to create something a little more. I decorated the adorable little album using some of my favorite VB items. I hope you enjoy my little project!

Supplies used:

• VB Kit album
• VB Kit paper and vellum
• VB Kit clear washi
• VB Kit stickers
• VB note pad
• VB charm kit
• Paper trimmer/scissors
• Clear tape/adhesive
• Ribbon
• White paper doilies
• Assorted sequins

Step 1: I started by trimming one of the VB papers to fit inside the clear sleeve of the album. I made sure that when I cut it, the folded side was on the top. I wanted it to be more interactive, so I’m leaving the fold in and using it to flip up and down.

Step 2: I took a doily and glued it on one of the corners, then trimmed off the excess.

Step 3: To add more fun details to the page, I glued down some sparkly ribbon that I had on hand at about an inch off the bottom. Then I fussy cut one of the pretty stickers from the sticker book (I picked the sticker that says “Once Upon a Time”).

Step 4: One of the other clear pockets I decided to make into a shaker pocket. I cut some of the gorgeous vellum to fit inside, then added some assorted sequins on the front and back that I had in my stash of goodies. I closed off the top of the pocket by placing some washi on it to seal it closed. 

Step 5: On one of the other pockets, I put another white doily, then some of the VB clear washi about half an inch from the top. I put the Dainty Stickers (my FAV VB item ever) on the front, and some sheets from the VB note pad on the back. 

The rest of the pockets I put stickers in. The small sticker sheet that is included in our kits fits perfectly. I also cut some of the sticker sheets up to fit inside the pockets. That way I always have some of my favorite supplies on hand. I also went ahead and made the charm from the kit to add some extra sparkle to the little album. I love how it turned out!
