VB Close Up: Serenity Weekly Layout

Hey ya’ll, hey!

I am so in love with the Serenity VBKit and all the sophisticated elements included. The beautiful Weeks cover included with this kit will hold a Print Pression Weeks perfectly, and that is what I am using to create this serene and lovely layout. How I use my planner has changed a bit over the last couple months however, one thing has remained the same and that’s my pretty functional planning. This blog will show you how I created my weekly layout using the Serenity VBKit. Enjoy!

I added the “You Glow Girl” washi tape to the bottom of the page, as the message on this washi is very inspiring. With my planner being my “happy place”, I love adding washi that inspires and encourages me. Washi tape also adds texture and dimension to your planner page.
Next, using the date covers with a circle to the left of the day of the week, I can date my page for the designated week I wish to use it.
Once the date covers are added to the page, then I can select stickers from the sticker book to use to bring my layout together.
I set-up my weekly layout according to what my focus will be for the week. For example, Saturday (a lighter day, with not much to plan or track) is perfect for an inspirational quote box and a half box to record my feelings or an affirmation.
(Top) I added a “notes” header for Friday, so I can keep my notes organized inside the clipboard style full box. Below the full box, I added the thin washi from the kit for a little bit of texture to the page. I can also write directly on the washi.

(Bottom) The first box on the PP Weeks layout is where I plan my goals, which gives me my focus for the week. The “goals” header sticker, paired with the “You Glow Girl” full box, makes the ideal place to add the transparent page flags. These flags are a cool and functional new item, which can be used for writing plans or to do’s, move them as needed, if and when plans change. Finish the page with a couple of deco stickers from the kit and the result is a pretty functional weekly layout.

I hope you enjoyed this close up look at using the Serenity VBKit in your weekly layout. Stay well and be inspired to use your kit in fun and creative ways. See ya’ll next time!
