VB Tutorial: Page Marker

Hey Villababes!

I want to share a project I make every month using the digital files. I use some sort of page marker in each of my planners, it helps me find the current day, it's functional, and it's always PRETTY!

Supplies needed:

  • 1 sheet of double-sided card stock or paper. I usually print a sheet using the VB digital files, this allows for customization and I use a sheet of paper that is thinner than cardstock and thus easier to laminate.
  • 1 laminate pocket
  • Laminator
  • Vinyl tab or other tab
  • Paper trimmer/scissors
  • Adhesive

Optional items to decorate page marker:

  • Pen loop
  • Sticky notes
  • Die cuts
  • Adhesive pocket
  • Washi card

Step 1: Cut your paper to the size needed for your planner.

Dimensions for planner sizes I use:

  • Erin Condren 6 ¾” x 8 ¾”
  • Personal Wide Rings 4 ¾” x 6 ¾”
  • Happy Planner Micro 2 7/8” x 4”
  • Hobonichi Weeks 3 ½” x 7 1/8”

Step 2: Apply vinyl prior to lamination.
If using a tab this can be added at the end.

Step 3: Laminate & Trim – I usually run through twice and then trim and run through 1 final time.

Step 4: Decorate – I almost always add sticky notes and a washi card to my page marker, this helps keep them at the ready should I need to make a quick note or block out time on my calendar.

I often add coordinating die cuts and a quote vinyl just to make me smile.
