One of the many reasons that I love my VB Kits is you can use them so many different ways in your planner. Today I thought I would show you how I used the August VB Kit to plan my monthly layout in my personal rings.
The items I used from this month’s kit were the sticker book, washi tapes, and my VB Pen. You will also need scissors.
Before I start the decorating part, I usually take a small piece of paper and write a list of things I want to include in my monthly layout.
The next step I usually do is create the outside deco. I usually prefer to use the washi tape along the top and the bottom of the page.
I will go through the sticker book and look for the stickers I would like to use. Then I cut the stickers out of the book. This helps make sure that they are the right size and look before I can commit to the layout. I then start to write the appointments and items for the month.
I stick a pocket on the back of each sticker book, so in the event I cut out a sticker and don’t end up using it, I have a way to keep it with the book.
You can come up with many creative ways to use your VB Kit. This month, I ended up cutting each item on the washi roll to stack them along with the stickers. I love the way it looks with the foil.
Before I finish my monthly layout, I make sure that the decoration and appointments are balanced out. If it is too centered to one side, I might add a few more decoration pieces to even it out.
Now you are done and you have a beautiful layout using the VB Kit!
