VB Close Up: Planning with VB Stickers

Are you a decorative or minimal planner? I am a little bit of both! My favorite decorative stickers to add to my minimal planner are always the sticker books from the monthly VBKit!

I have posted a spread a couple weeks back and received tons of compliments, so I thought a “how to” would be perfect for this month’s blog post.

What you need:

Your favorite planner
Your favorite weekly or daily inserts
VBKit sticker book (I'm using the Cafe Papershire VBKit!)
VillabeauTIFFul stickers
Washi tape
Any other functional or transparent stickers!

Whenever I plan using any sticker kit, I ALWAYS start with the full boxes because it takes up the most space! I look at my calendar and see what days are the busiest and use a full box to take up a whole block of time.

After I laid all of my full boxes down, I added a couple of half boxes to mark bigger events that are coming up. I make sure to balance the patterns and the solid half boxes throughout my spread so there isn’t too much of one thing.
Time for my favorite part: LAYERING!

In all of the VBKit sticker books, there are so many options to layer stickers and make it your own! I love layering longer flags with a script, of course with a little foil!
I then layered functional arrows with icons to mark that I wanted to film a video on Saturday. I played around with the washi tape that came in the kit and laid it across Saturday and Sunday to act as a simple weekend banner and I love how it turned out!

Get creative! I even used the heart checklists as a decorative divider. There are NO rules to planning, so do your thing and have fun!
I cannot wait to see how your spread turned out! Make sure to tag me so I can see your spread and get some inspiration too!
