VB Product Close Up: Page Flags
Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to show you a few different ways on how I’m using the vellum page flags that have been in the last two VBKits. They have officially become a staple in my planner. The flags are my go to when I need to jot down a reminder, or “pencil” something in on a certain date. Being that they are on a plastic card, it serves as my washi cutter and straight edge too!
One of the main things I use them for is my monthly expenses. Usually for expenses that don’t necessarily need to be paid that month, but do need to be written down and taken care of at a later point. The flags you see down below are from the month of June, but I didn’t get around to taking care of these and because the flags are repositionable, I was able to move them to July.
Another one of my favorite ways to use them is to plan ahead. I carry them in my planner so they are an easy go to when I get a date thrown at me that I need to remember for whatever the reason may be.
They also work great as bookmarks! I know, that’s what a page flag is, to mark your spot, it seems kind of silly for me to mention this, but sometimes when I get a planner kit I only think “planner”, when in reality we can use the kit for other things.
Lastly, I keep a small scrapbook/memory book where I take some time at the end of my week and get creative. My mom came to visit recently and wanted to take a drive down the coast. Going on this drive reminded me how beautiful this area is, and how I take it for granted. I wanted to make sure I documented this outing to remind myself to appreciate the beauty that is around me. I used the digitals from La Isla VBKit to create this spread and I used the page flags to write down the date and where we went. As you can see I also cut the ends of the page flags to give them a bit of a different look. I have also found it works best when you use a sharpie to write on the page flags, my favorite is a sharpie fine tip marker.
Thank you so much for reading! I can’t wait to see how you all are using the page flags.
