VB Tutorial: La Isla Pocket Cards
Hello my VillaCommunity!

So excited to bring you this blog with the June VBKit, La Isla! This kit is definitely one of my favorites, the neutrals mixed with the natural greens and pinks just speaks to me.

The project we will be doing today uses a few specialized tools, but most are within the typical planner arsenal. The front of my planner has four card slots, and I really wanted to make them both functional and pretty, so I decided to make editable pocket cards using the La Isla VBKit!

What you’ll need:

Paper (you can print the digitals if you preordered the kit, but I’m loving the quality of the paper pack)
La Isla Page Flags
Paper Trimmer  (you can also cut with scissors, but a paper trimmer will make your life so much easier)
Label Maker (you can write handwrite, but my penmanship is horrible, so I’m cheating)
Corner Rounder (optional, but I think the rounded corners make the cards look complete)

Step One: Trim the paper into a width and height that will fit the card slots in your planner, for mine (Gillio A6 Rings) it is 2.0 inches by 3.5 inches.

Step Two: Round the corners if you would like.

Step Three: Use your label maker to create titles for each card. I chose: In Case of Emergency, Dog Information, Morning Routine, Evening Routine. You could also make cards for your kids, a work from home routine, a whole card for skincare, a budgeting routine, really anything you do often!

Step Four: Place four page flags on each card. The advantage to using the page flags is that if something changes, you can just pick up the page flag and put in a new one!  The cards are both permanent, but incredibly editable at the same time!

Step Five: Now it’s time to fill in the page flags using your label maker or a permanent pen (Sharpie fine point and LePens work great on these!) , and you’re done!
