VB Tutorial: So in Love Greeting Cards

Hey y’all, hey! I love making handmade greeting cards for my friends and family. I’ve been a scrapbooker most of my life and a planner babe since high school. Making cards is another way I can express my creativity.

Supplies:

-Sticker Paper for printing the digitals (If you don’t have sticker paper, simply print the digitals on cardstock and the clipart on 32 or 40 pound paper, cut and use crafting/glue sticker, double tape, or any adhesive that you already have on hand).

-Printer

-Kit Washi Tape (optional)

-Cardstock or 5x7 plain greeting cards

-Paper cutter and/or scissors

Optional supplies: paper punches, colored pencils

Steps:

1. Download the VB Kit digitals to your computer and select the clipart and digital paper that you’d like to use for this project. *I customized the sizing to 35%, giving me four of the clipart images per page and two of the digital papers per page. Using your paper cutter, carefully cut the digital paper. You will have two of the same design, one for the front of the card and one for the back.

2. Choose your clipart and cut. I used a brown colored pencil to customize the skin tone and a pink colored pencil to add a pop of color to the collar on her dress and to her shoes.

Once you’ve cut out all your clip art, now you’re ready to start assembling your “So in Love with Cuteness” cards.

3. Carefully peel the sticker backing off your digital paper. Center the digital on the front and back of your card.

4. Then peel the sticker paper from the clipart image and apply to the front of the card.

So cute!

Optional: Grab your sticker book from the January VB Kit, to add a special message to the front of the card.

Tip: you can add a sticker to the inside of the card too!

How cute is the "Love Hearts" digital paper with this cutie?!

I added the cupcake clipart at an angle to the abstract art digital paper. Super cute!

All done! Three greeting cards, ready to be personalized using that gorgeous “Beary in Love” VB Kit pen. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and are inspired to make your own. See y’all next time!
