VB Tutorial: Spring Cleaning List
Hi everyone!

Today I'm sprucing up my Spring Cleaning To Do List! For this project, I'm using the free Silhouette software. The great thing about this software is that you don't need the actual cutting machine to use it. It can be used all on it's own for designing and laying out projects.
After you download the software and open it up, it's time to pick which digitals you want to use. Simply drag and drop your selected clip art from the download folder to the Silhouette screen.

Once all the images are on the Silhouette screen, resize them to your preference.
I want to use the house clip art as the list header so I positioned those in the top center.

Next up it's time to add a title! Use the Text Style tool to customize your text and font. The Fill & Line Style tools will let you change the colors of your text. You can use the eyedropper tool to match the color to the clip art.
To get the title directly centered underneath the house header, I used the Align Center tool found in the Object dropdown.
The flowers are perfect to use as bullet points for my list! I selected all four flowers to resize them at once and then stack them one below the other. To make sure they were all lined up correctly, I used the Align Left tool.
To make things go a little quicker, I selected all four flowers again and used the Group tool. This will let me replicate the bullet points four at a time instead of one by one.
Then I used the Duplicate Below tool to extend my list until I had enough bullet points for everything I wanted to add.
This is an optional step, but it's a cute way to incorporate more of the VBKit patterns! You can drag one of the paper digitals directly onto the text to fill the letters with the pattern instead of a solid color.
Now it's time to add in the list! Once you're finished adding all the text and you're happy with the layout and look of everything, go ahead and print it to your desired size!
I printed mine out, trimmed it down, and punched it to fit into my A6 Rings planner. I also printed another copy at full size to hang on my fridge as a daily reminder of what still needs to be done.

This can be done for any kind of list or even left blank for you to write in things as you go! I love having things typed out and neat though, so I thought I'd share this fun way to incorporate more of the VBKit digitals into your planners.

I wish I'd used a darker color for the text for the sake of this blog though! While it's very pretty and easy to read in person, the light coloring didn't photograph very well. I've included a photo of the finished product below!

Thanks for reading!
